As agreed, the running lights should be run on the low filament. The low filament wire is designated with a stripe on it (Honda, typical). If the previous owner replaced the front signals with aftermarket, the
aftermarket signals don't follow the Honda wiring colors.

The bullet connectors were replaced on newer Honda bikes with a plug so there's no mix up (photo below). The hi filament uses 21 watts and I'd think the heat would fry the socket and make the signal lens brittle with the hi-filament constant ON in running light mode. Also, 21 watts on two front signals consumes 42 watts total. That's 80% of what a headlight uses on low beam (55/60). Really not a problem with the Valk's alternator, but it might be an issue if the battery every gets low.
