This will be my tire repair setup next riding season. I have the full StopnGo kit now but the mushroom type plug doesn't hold.

I will ad the reamer/rasp and mini air compressor (just like the link above) from my StopnGo kit to it though.

I have an unused in my saddlebag. I hope it stays that way.

I've the StopnGo and it does work. But it took me a few tries to learn how to do it "right".

I know my co-worker uses the string type. But he also uses a good amount of glue for it too. He likes how if it is a bigger hole, requiring more than one string, he can add another.

A air pump can be found at Walmart for $5-$10, small and fits in the saddle bags out of the way. You need to get one of those alligator accessory sockets to plug it into.

I've had the Stop & Go repair kit in my saddle bag for some time now.  Have not used it on the Valkyrie -- knock on wood -- but have used it on the Shadow and other things.  The success rate is around 20%.  I purchased a cheap Slime string plug type kit earlier this year after the mushroom plugs failed (twice) on my riding lawnmower rear tire.  So far, the string plug in the lawn mower has lasted six months.

Though pricey, I'm intrigued by the Nealey kit.  No tube of glue to go dry on you when you really need it!

Been using Slime string type for years on tubeless tires w/o any failure.

I've used the Stop & Go plugger three or four time, on both motorcycle and car tires. Always worked. I usually repair the tire later with an inside patch.

Stop and go,1075 with an air pump that runs off  cylinder pressure,   remove one spark plug,  screw in,  run engine.  Gas/air mixture  does not go in tire.  Sucks clean outside  air into the tire.  Used one time.   Soooooo glad I had it with.

I connected a 12 volt auxiliary to my battery, attached it to the frame under the seat, every two weeks I connect my air compressor ($30) and check my tires, I was traveling, had a flat on a back road,  I used the sticky string plug without glue and it stopped the leak and off I went.
