We had a pretty good turnout considering the times we are in.  Twenty four was my count.  About half from VRCC and the other half local riders (most missing 4 cylinders).  I smoked a brisket (are you suffering Ron?) and made pulled pork.  I got more votes for the pulled pork but the brisket disappeared first.  All the baked beans and macaroni were finished off.  Liz brought home made tiramisu that also vanished.  I heard it was super good. I went to get some but it was gone. Cry.  The weather was very nice.  Donna had spent hours decorating the barn with Halloween stuff.  We had people arrive at 10:00 and the last to leave, left about 5:00.  It was a really great day, but it is you guys that make it great. Talking bikes and sharing stories is what it is all about. Thanks to all that came.  We also had the honor of being Kara's "first ride" destination.  Kara is Sam's (Henderson, NV.) daughter.  This was her first ride, from Henderson, Nevada, to here, and then down into Phoenix area.  Kara, I wish for you, a life time of memories, good friends and many good road trips.  I look forward to riding with all of you again.

Sandy, I never got any of those cookies or Liz's tiramisu cake.  I did, however, get a bunch of cheese cake that Donna was slow to put out.  She had forgotten it.  I made like a cherry pie filling and spooned that on top of the cheese cake.  It was so good.
