Im  well aware most of you here probably haven't heard that name before but when guys like Willie  Nelson and Johnny Cash call you great your pretty damn good at writing songs.  A true Texas hell raiser and will be missed by many of us Honky Tonk Heroes he was 81.

Plenty familiar and yes a great songwriter.  Seems lotsa great ones are going home lately.   Cry  RIP.
