I keep getting emails promising me a way to lose fifty pounds in sixty-one days. I could weigh 155 by the beginning of 2021. I haven't weighed that little for about fifty years if I remember correctly.
On the good news side I was able to get the bike out for a ride today. In this part of the country it's sort of a challenge to prove to myself that I can ride in every month of the year. Today, 01 November, the temp has been 66 degrees F, a bit over average for this time of year. Nice day for a ride.

IF my Valk wasn't in the shop - I'd be out too. Hopefully they can have it done this week / early next week (before it rains again).
And yes - except for the winter in Boston - I have been able to ride all 12 months everywhere I have lived. Some months stretched it on the COLD factor.

I get those emails too. You can lose 50# in 61 days. It does require commitment, drive, and the donation of a liver, lung, and left leg. Kidney is optional. But it can be done. |

I lost a little over 50 pounds in 30 days, it is doable.
I was on a pure liquid diet for half that time and very small portions of soft foods only the other half, but it is doable.

I lost over 300 pounds of ugly fat and it only cost me $250,000 the first go round. I have spent another $155,000 to keep my sanity. It was worth every dollar.

I was speaking facetiously, that is I was talking feces. I don't really have fifty pounds to lose. I should drop thirty or even thirty-five but fifty would leave me emaciated. I just found it humorous that out of the blue someone would repeatedly offer me a pathway to lose fifty pounds.

Something is listening. Siri, Google, Alexis, Facebook. It happens to us all the time. Sometimes we joke about it and if neither of us feels like looking something up, we just talk about it and recommendations pop up. |

are all the calls everyone getting on their cell phones I take it? I get student loans to payoff, voter BS calls, and 4xs yet again today same numbrer that my social security has been tampered with and call them back supposedly from social security office, yah right.
Cannot the cell phone carriers block these numbers from me getting them near daily? I have US Cellular and unfortunately I have to keep them where I live since Verizon is sketchy in areas. Nearly all the people I talk to are from India/Pakistan and cannot speak very good English which even pisses me off even more. I am tempted to get a new cell phone number and start all over to see if gets any better.

Something is listening. Siri, Google, Alexis, Facebook. It happens to us all the time. Sometimes we joke about it and if neither of us feels like looking something up, we just talk about it and recommendations pop up. I lost 83# in 8 weeks 4 years ago. But, I wouldn't recommend that diet for anyone. I've gained 20 back and just trying to stay there. |

While I admit that I am not as svelte as I should be - 50 pounds would be a bit much. Besides having to buy 3-4 daily wardrobes getting there + final wardrobe once I got to my goal.

Cookiedough , I have over two hundred numbers blocked on my phone. I do not answer a number I do not recognize. Some are now leaving messages. That is how I found about my student loan.

Unless it's my kid, my wife or my parents, I don't even answer the phone. Haven't you savages heard of texting?!?!?!
(And even if it's one of the few people I'll answer the phone for, the first words out of my wife is "What's the emergency?")
