That's good to hear. If...IF...the republicans keep the senate it matters little if Biden wins. The majority of what he's promised to do won't fly simply because it involves legislation and won't pass the senate. McConnel(sp?) has already been reelected so will most likely keep his position as the senate leader if the repubs keep the majority. I'm not watching constantly, just checking back from time to time. I'm cautiously optimistic at the moment but there's a long way to go.

I went and said I thought the total would be 298 for Trump
Lets see if it holds
That would give him Tx Ga Fl and Ohio and Mich to go over the top  and Va which I do not get why the media calls it Biden when Trump so far ahead but would not call Fl till just now

as of 11 pm my time I got Trump with 289 Electoral votes with the states called and the states in which he is currently leading by significant margins with significant %ages being counted.

If he can get Minn. and it is in play, many counties yet to finish the vote and these counties are leaning strongly for Trump or are in an area that is going strongly for Trump, that would add another 10 Electoral votes.

Honestly I don't like Graham's position on foreign policy so I voted against every time he ran but the latest opponent was just to much for me. I actually voted for Lindsay Graham.

In case you are wondering I don't like Graham's position that basically we have to have our military scatter all over the world fighting here and there forever. We don't need guys getting all screwed up fighting over nothing. I have a friend who fought in Desert Storm and now his son is still fighting in almost the same place. His son is over in Afghanistan fighting for what exactly? Technically not fighting but doing peace keep or whatever crap they call it today. Many guys get shot at and blown up is what happens.

I served with Lindsey in the Air Force.  We were both captains on opposite tables in courts-martial.

We also shared time in a car driving through Germany (with two others) attending a USAF Judiciary conference in Bavaria, and walked around the Dachau concentration camp and a few ornate castles.

We (desperately) need to hold the senate, so I'm glad he won.

But I'm with you on foreign wars Corey.  Especially with getting involved in never-ending wars of attrition, which we seem good at.  Either go in and win decisively, or stay home (and help allies and others win).

After service, Lindsey went into politics (and USAF Reserve), and I went to USDVA where I spent the rest of my working life reading veteran's files about disease and injury (including a lot of gunshot wounds, shell fragment wounds, lost limbs and eyes, and lost minds).

Fort Stewart is a good example of what goes on. Every time those guys come back from over seas deployment, chaos starts for a little while. The MP's usually take care of that so not much is released to the public but all sorts of strange things happen.

I live up by Parris Island and I have run into many guys who are all beat up physically and are on disability from the military. Legs blown off, arms blown off etc.
