A member here, Michael K, beat pancreatic cancer. I believe his entire pancreas was removed; he's on insulin for life (obviously). He was very sick for awhile; he's doing good now. |

R.I.P!! what more can we say about the man, he will be missed.
Was always a great host, loved watching the show. Since he dropped the bomb on his disease, I've always wondered who would replace him. With Jennings in the back ground, I'm thinking that's his successor.

Damn cancer. He fought it for quite some time and I think he tried several experimental drugs/procedures.
I always like that he would not allow being called the 'star' of the show, he said the contestants were the stars, he was the host.
I thought this was a death sentence, glad to hear that some have survived it.
