I watched that back when it first ran.  (Mostly for Loni Anderson and Johnny Fever)

One of the funniest TV episodes of all time.

Bombing Cincinnati with live turkeys.

I don't think that episode would fly now-a-days.  Wink

Turkeys normally can fly although for farm raised it would be a very short distance.  I don't believe they could bring themselves out of a 125 mph freefall but I haven't tested that for myself.   Wink

I'd like to try that.  It would be very interesting to watch.  The WKRP scene was described but off screen.   Smiley

Going to the Yooper ride 4 months ago had a turkey fly from one elevated bank on the right to the other side of the road. His wings brushed my helmet.  Shocked

I bought my 2d Valk from a guy who dumped the bike when a big flock of wild turkeys launched across his bow on rural woods roads.  It was his second get off in 2 years and his wife made him take up a new hobby.

Around here it's the giant turkey vultures sitting low in the trees over roadkill you have to watch out for.

Not one of the cuter animals in the kingdom. (no one has them for thanksgiving dinner; GAG) (they reportedly smell as bad as the carrion they eat, but I've never sniffed one)
