No. Joe Biden has done nothing yet to influence the market. So, what happened to the claim from the left that stock market gains early in Mr. Trump's administration were actually due to Barrack Obama?

Perhaps the rise in the market is due to Trump not conceding.
Trump's economic policy is pretty basic. Less taxes, less useless regulation, more domestic production.
If you are investing in the market, those are the basic things you want to see.
Those policies are still there.
The policies the alleged Biden administration proposes are economic killing ones. More taxes, more regulation which will drive domestic production back overseas.
If I came back to the US with a production plant I'd be looking to bail and move elsewhere before the Biden taxes and regulations kick in.
The cost of the Biden policies will come out of the pockets of the doers and the ambitious. What's the point of being ambitious or a doer if the government will take what you earn for themselves?

BTW, Donald John Trump is still president and will remain so, Biden is not the PE.. only you and the media falsely declare it. First, I am not a lefty. I am a republican. I just happen to dislike trump. Second, you deflected from the point of my post, you don't answer or address the questions and you end up attacking "Lefties" as a spiteful group of people. Wow, I respect the Office of the President but not necessarily the person in that office. trump may still be the president, but thank God his days are numbered. You say it's "only you and the media falsely declare it" That certainly sounds like denialism as you seem to be forgetting about the more than 80 MILLION ( the most ever !!) or so voters that made sure trump did not continue in office. Biden won by a landslide, both the popular vote and the electoral college. Almost all of the states have certified the votes of the people. They wanted trump out. PERIOD And saying that trump will continue to be the president would appear to be a highly unsupported position. Biden will be the president, and hopefully he will do a good job. I find your statement that "Lefties are certainly a spiteful group of haters.." to be ridiculous. I don't think you can honestly say that all lefties are of the same mind as haters. The Judgmentalism you present in your post is a personal flaw that I hope you might consider seeking professional help to overcome. We should all deal with the FACTS ! Facts are those things that you could see, hear, videotape, and validate. Facts are objective, provable, and verifiable. But negative people don’t tend to traffic in facts; they much prefer interpretations. The human brain is an interpretation machine. It doesn’t show us the world as it is, but rather as it’s useful for us. This is why we all have different perceptions of the world, sometimes radically so. The brain perceives a fact, and then, almost instantaneously, it sifts through all our personal past experiences and knowledge to assign meaning, or intent, to that fact. So the negative person takes a fact, like Joe Biden won by a landslide, and they interpret that to mean that this new President is going to be awful, etc. They’ve left the world of facts and jumped feet first into the realm of interpretations.

I don't understand your continued use of this question. First I haven't stated any support for Joe Biden as President. I stated the FACTS concerning the number of people that voted for him. I took exception to a previous unsupported post about "Lefties" If you are attempting to twist my words of "hope he does a good job" as some type of spoken support then I would suggest you are wrong.

Oh I am sooooo sorry. I made an assumption that since you did not like Trump as President that you did not vote for him in this past election.
And I guess I made another major boo-boo assuming you voted in this past election.
But if you did and you did not vote for Joe Biden, then I guess I have to assume you voted for Jo Jorgensen. Since Ms Jorgensen is a Libertarian candidate and got 1.2% of the total votes cast for President, one has to only do the math and say that any a vote for Ms. Jorgensen is a vote against Donald Trump and a vote for Joe Biden for President.
A vote for Joe Biden for President is a vote to support the Democrat Platform which includes the notion of the Green New Deal and the end of use of hydrocarbons for powering vehicles, planes, trains, boats and MOTORCYCLES.

I can't even believe your position on this. Your statement : A vote for Ms. Jorgensen is a vote against Donald Trump and a vote for Joe Biden for President. How about NO ! A vote for Jorgensen is a vote for Jorgensen. And this statement, you made : I made an assumption that since you did not like Trump as President that you did not vote for him in this past election. You have to know the old adage : "When you assume, you make an ..... out of yourself"

You capitalize Biden and don't give Trump the same respect. ...
... I respect the Office of the President but not necessarily the person in that office. trump may still be the president, but thank God his days are numbered. ... Fair warning. I have noticed the repeated lower casing of President Trump's name. I have reluctantly given extra leeway to this repeated disrespectful act. Now that someone has publicly brought it up any further post with that practice will be removed upon my noticing it. " I respect the Office of the President but not necessarily the person in that office." Really? Can anyone really believe that? During my time in the USMC if I had stated that I respect the position of battalion commander but not the officer in that position no courts martial would have given me a pass on that. It just doesn't make sense. It didn't as an excuse when people chose to show disrespect for Barrack Obama and it doesn't for people who choose to show disrespect for Donald Trump.

Can anyone believe that ? How about MILLIONS and MILLIONS of people from the first president until now !!!!!!!!! And I can hardly believe you are saying that you would be given a Courts Martial for expressing that opinion. In the military, the rank is respected without consideration of the person wearing it. It holds true now as it has always held true. Personally I don't give a hoot what you do or do not believe. And exactly what article of the UCMJ are you alleging you would be punished under ? The military has a long tradition of respecting the position/office and not the man. The military has been teaching for a long, long time: You salute the uniform, not the man. It's been said millions of times "You May Not Like The Man Occupying It, But You Have To Respect The Office"

It's an interesting but misapplied concept. In the Marine Corps (as well as other military units) disrespect shown to the person holding the position is prosecutable and cannot be excused by saying, "I respect the rank but not the man in it." You have misplaced the term respect for like. Incidentally the saying is assume makes an ass of you and me. Misquotes have a tendency to change meanings.

I already provided headlines from 10 different sources that attribute the rise to Biden and the vaccine. Now it's your turn No - YOU provided 10 OPINIONS from mainstream media sources (sometimes called the LAMESTREAM MEDIA) attributting that. Since TRUMP is still President (and he will be until January 20, 2021 assuming the election doesn't get overturned) - wouldn't he get the credit as well as the blame for the reverse ?

Yes, and now I'm asking you to provide 10 Media reference that support your opinion.
I haven't seen a single response.
Most likely because there aren't any.

No - mine is Prima facie - Trump is currently the President , and all such news is traditionally laid upon the person currently in the office. If you're going to quote the MSM around here on REAL NEWS, you're going to be laughed out of town.

Hardly misapplied. First, I'm pretty sure the meaning of what I wrote is well know. Just saying And once again you are way way way off the tracks. I never said anything about showing disrespect. So it would appear you are once again deflecting and attempting in interject some circumstance that helps your position. You indicated you might end up in a Courts Martial if you respected the office and not the man. Which is a totally bogus statement. The military can not stop or punish a person for their thoughts ! Now your interjecting something about disrespect. Nowhere in my post did I suggest or even use the word disrespect. So it would appear you are adding the "disrespect" to a conversation to help back up your totally false statement about the Courts Martial. I do know a thing or two about the UCMJ and there is no article for not having respect for a man or woman in a higher grade. Military folks are allowed to think Trump is a total waist if that is their desire. And you said other services follow suite. I don't think so....... If you want a very specific example, remember what happened with the midshipmen at the Academy for the U.S. Naval Academy graduation. After all was said and done, they showed the measured respect his office requires, and they offered the quiet deference they owed to the office of the president. It was clear they had no respect for him as a person and refused to be used as pawns for his photo ops. Article 88 of the UCMJ - Contempt Toward Public Officials states: “Any commissioned officer who uses contemptuous words against the President, the Vice President, Congress, the Secretary of Defense, the Secretary of a military department, the Secretary of Transportation, or the Governor or legislature of any State, Territory, Commonwealth, or possession in which he is on duty or present shall be punished as a court-martial may direct.” Once again, I never said anything that involved speaking and contemptuous words. This article of the UCMJ just doesn't apply. PERIOD And there is no such Article in the UCMJ that says you have to respect the person in the Office of the resident. Never was, never will be.

I think you are the one that folks will be laughing at. You can't give me the 10 sources because they don't exist. And now you want to try and cover that up with some comment about MSM. Lots and Lots of right leaning folks here quote far right leaning internet sources all the time. I'll even accept references from them if you can find them to back up what you say is so apparent. You can try and twist this any way you want, but I'm pretty sure everyone knows you can't provide 10 sources that support your opinion. This conversation is over

It's difficult for me to follow the redirection and misinterpretation. This will be my final post in our exchange. It began by my referencing an act of disrespect, not feelings of disrespect. You somehow transitioned to being court martialed for lacking to hold respect. The crime would be in showing disrespect. Yes, the military does require displaying respect, such as saluting, whether one inwardly holds respect for the individual or not. It's undoubtedly a rather long and contentious discussion on whether showing respect is respecting or not. I guess comes to mind the little fellow whom was told by his father to sit down and shortly after replied, "I may be sitting on the outside but I'm standing on the inside."

Redirection and misinterpretation ! As usual, you twist, turn, interject and misrepresent what you previously posted. I didn't transition to being court martialed for lacking to hold respect. You brought it up ! It was you that brought up Courts Martial. And not for disrespect, but for not respecting a person in the office". You clearly posted "During my time in the USMC if I had stated that I respect the position of battalion commander but not the officer in that position no courts martial would have given me a pass on that. " Then you say "It began by my referencing an act of disrespect" Obviously NOT TRUE. It began with the statement you made ""During my time in the USMC if I had stated that I respect the position of battalion commander but not the officer in that position no courts martial would have given me a pass on that. " The words "act of Disrespect" don't appear anywhere in that earlier post. And Yes, I would certainly agree with leaving it here. I think it's clear you are deflecting and attempting to re-write the history of this exchange despite the record thereof. Happy Thanksgiving !

You guys don't understand something. The market is priced in on a Republican Senate and Biden as President which pretty much equals dead lock. This is an important point.
Also I have been hedged with Puts since Sept. on all my positions. The vaccine news popped the market but much damage is being done. Many big cities are going to have real money problems which means big lay offs in the public works sector. They're all going to want a Federal bailout. Commercial and residential landlords are going to get hit, matters how deep their pockets are. etc. etc. Slow moving train wreck that won't just correct it's self with a roll out of a vaccine.
