same here everyone have a good day with family and/or friends, if they can get together that is.

My wife and I want to visit the kids both 3 1/2 hours away next Saturday,  especially since we have B-day presents for the boy age 19 on Nov. 30th turning 20,  but the girl age 22 is sorta fearful of catching covid not as likely because of us but her younger brother who does his own thing 'more so' socializing with others not living in fear, plus he works at a job with the public with human interraction every single day.    She is college in training/ teaching 4th grade and knows kids parents, etc. in her class having covid and the kids are still in school and has seen her boyfriends close family and other girl friends having covid also but nothing too serious.  Not so sure is a great time to visit but do not see the danger especially from us but to not have her brother there would be odd for sure all in the same house.     Even my mother in law wants to spend both holidays alone which I find sorta odd as well.  I cannot force them to spend time with us I guess but this Covid thing is sorta a downer for most.

I personally think both my daughter and mother in law is drinking the kool-aid a little too much living in fear somewhat believing this Covid thing and all you hear on the local news from WI Governor and others on the news in Madison WI to STAY HOME do NOT visit family/friends during the holidays.

Surely has been a very weird 2020 for sure and hope we all get thru this 2020 and 2021 brings better news for all the world.  cooldude

Still much to be thankful for even though my daughter  and her family have decided to abide by our governors request to not gather together this year and not come over.  I did sneak over there for a moment and get a hug from my grandkids.

Everyone Happy Thanksgiving!

I’m hoping those less fortunate are able to have a warm dry place and a good meal today. With the virus and the idiots in charge it may be tight for a lot of folks. 8 of us will be together at my home representing 4 generations of Smiths. Would love to have had a larger gathering but that would mean more in the 80-90 year old range so that will have to wait till next year.

Happy Thanksgiving, a special Day set aside to show appreciation to God for the many blessings He has showered upon us. Of course, we should be expressing our gratitude to God every day!  Smiley
