From the start of the 2020 election process several things are clear.

1. If the Democrats did not get control of government to stifle investigations, some high ranking democrats had a good chance of going to jail.

2. Some Democrats were facing some serious personal liabilities for the illegal actions they had taken, especially if government documents continued to be de-classified. So again winning the election would offer some protection to those, losing could be a real problem.

So why not lie, cheat and steal the election because if they win no jail/personal liabilities, if they loose they still only go to jail or loose liability suits.

NO DOWN SIDE to getting caught, the only down side is losing.
