turn signals, possible dump beds, heater, etc. for 14K or so but the 660cc  guessing UTV belt driven might be a tad bit underpowered but if not into speeds greater than 45 mph would be a cool ride, maybe?

I see a TON more UTV's vs. ATV's on WI state trails nowadays to the tune of 10 to 1 nowadays vs. some 6+ years ago was just the opposite with most ATV's on the trails back then.  Problem I have with HUGE UTV's is the majority of WI state trails are NOT wide enough to handle these 5 ft or wider monsterous UTV's and the state needs to make the trails about 2-3 feet wider on most trails otherwise one has to run off the trail a few feet if possible without hitting a tree, etc.  when one is coming at me.  Only other issue I have with the big UTV's is I always get some old gent putzing along doing 10-15 mph in those big UTV's and unable to pass them since too wide to do it since usually they are hogging the entire 7 foot wide trails in the middle.   tickedoff

to be honest,  I rarely go over 50 mph on my 2-up ATV since much past 55 mph is too fast even though my 800cc Can Am tops out at 73 mph floored.  Much past 60 mph and thinks sneak up on me too darn fast to react quick enough.  Besides, the wife on back slaps me along side my helmet with her on back if I am going over 55 mph yelling at me to slow down.   Up north near Hurley WI there are over 150 miles of mostly gravel/crushed rock buttery smooth road routes and done that once boring as all heck going 55 mph no problems creating dust storms 500 yards back just wanting to get OFF the road routes.    Most 500cc ATV's go 55 mph floored so this 660cc but in a much heavier platform should go tops 45 mph one would think?   I use to have a 329cc single cylinder polaris magnum 4wd tops floored would do near 45 mph and my old arctic cat 500cc ATV would do around 53 mph floored but much past 45 mph got too buzzy/rough to go over 50 mph.   Even that old single cylinder polaris magnum I rarely had it floored on ATV trails for very long 45 mph was fast enough for the most part rarely wanting to go much faster.  I had it on the Madison WI lakes once in 4wd wide open and 40-43 mph floored was fast enough for me for a few mile stretch on 5-6 inches of snow and ice.

My brother has one of these mini trucks. Has a 3 cylinder inline in it. Would be pretty cool for hunting or around the farm if tbey were not so damn ugly. My brother drives his everywhere. I call it his clown truck.

They are very popular around here also. My wife and I were at the local dealership Saturday looking at them. As soon as she got in it and floored it she was hooked. No coaching needed from me at all.  Cheesy

So Dave,  did you get the Kawi UTV?  I heard they are pretty good overall ride.    Most around me, like 90%,  buy the either Polaris Razor or Ranger/General.  My rich neighbor just bought a 4 seater polaris razor in light army camo 1000cc turbo with VERY UGLY orange lower rocker panels so he can drive it 1/2 mile downtown to his insurance company or to the 5 local bars since he is an alcoholic.   I looked it up and I guess he needs all of the 160hp to drive 15 mph 3 blocks to downtown at ONLY a cost of 27K.   uglystupid2   My other rich neighbor (or more like his army lt. colonel son), bought a new Honda Pioneer 1000cc 5 seater and I would go that route instead for 20K or so if wanted to blow 20K on them.    They are so HUGE though cannot imagine turning them around on the ATV trails I go on.  I have a hard enough time doing a U turn in my 2 up Can Am outlander ATV worth 5K.   I like the higher up seating area and more maneuverability of the ATV's especially the longer wheelbase on mine vs. sitting down IN the UTV's.    Back when I was looking I checked out the old style 2008 Polaris Razor 2 seaters and I could NOT get in/out of them and the seat was way way way too skinny for my big keester very cramped inside being shoe horned in such a machine did not seem comfy to me at all.

Cookie,

Thats why I went with the Kawasaki. Lots of room in the cockpit, the Honda Talon was really cramped inside. I would like to see a bit more power. At 111 HP it does pretty well but tops out around 70. Dealer has heard whispers that a Turbo may be coming out after the first of the year so we are going to wait until then to make a choice. We didn't want it before spring anyway.

good to know about the Kawi being roomier.  The old 2 seater razors from the 2008 year or so are very very small inside made for all under 200lbs. and under 5'10' for sure.    One would think 110 hp or so would be plenty NO need for a turbo if goes over 65 mph no way would I want to go much over that anyways no need for more power IMO.  My 800cc can am outlander ATV, although big at 800lbs., is much less weight than a UTV and has I think around 70 hp and NO NEED for more.  Sometimes I wish I had a 650cc vtwin in it vs. 800cc since it tends to get jumpy on me too often and harder to keep a constant speed with thumb throttle.  Now all mfgs. have 1000cc's and now TURBO's which I feel is way overkill.
