Is there any reason these shocks will not go on a Valkyrie?

Are you looking for 12 inch shocks, or is 12 inch the closest to 13 that
there is in that model? They sure do look a lot like OEM Valkyrie shocks...
A whole bunch of people run the 412 model with the exposed springs,
I've never seen that enclosed model before...

I went to the progressive website

https://www.progressivesuspension.com/product/1408/412-series-shocks

They have Honda Valkyrie options for 11 1/2, 12, 12 1/2, and 13 inch lengths. Also with black or chrome springs showing or full chrome cover like you posted.

I've been running 12" Progressives for quite a few years but with open springs. They were standard springs and a bit weak so I made a tool to change to I/S springs. Works fine, a little stiff but ok for me.

Do you have any problems with bottoming or rubbing the fender when you hit bumps with the 12 inch shocks John?

I was wanting to press Valkyrie bushings into those 412-4079C shocks, wondering if the eyelets would accept them. I want to lower the bike a bit, but don't want to run the exposed spring shocks.

Hey Mooskee,  if you can point me the set of 12 inch shocks with the full chrome cover for the Valkyrie, I would appreciate it.           I don't see them.
