extended out long hwy pegs

I want to get my kid for his 1985 V30 500cc magna he bought a set of basic cheaper hwy. pegs upfront that mount to the black frame.  Bike does not have a crash bar upfront as some do which would make the hwy pegs easier to mount and stick out another 5 inches or so outward vs. the black frame which is pretty far in very skinny framed smaller cycle.    

any ideas on solid cheap long extended outward hwy pegs with longer mounts, nothing fancy, just someplace to put his feet on but has to have longer extensions outward at least 6 inches if not more to be useful.

anything Kurakyn is out too expensive for a 1200 cycle and do not want too much chrome if any at all blacked out would be preferred to match the blacked out look of the cycle to begin with.

Most really long hwy peg extensions are weak and will bend or twist on the mounts just with hard foot pressure.  And will snap off easily in a drop or fall or hitting an obstruction. 

What about clamping a bar across the front frame, with rubber ends?

Or, you get an oval crash bar (like HD), and mount short pegs to that.  ($$)

These extend 13" from center and can use additional 3" extensions. $$$
