was posting about considering traveling Telluride to Delores

This is the road up to Dallas Divide before you get to Telluride going west and up

This is 550 (Million Dollar Highway) I think north of Silverton going back to Montrose

Back in the day brother Strider made a video for me of my pics but the site is no more and my computer crashed and I lost a bunch of pics That was one of the most memorable days of riding and more special because Bonnie was on the rear seat all day  That was a LONG DAY too She took all the pics that day

That's CO 62 from Ridgway over Dallas Divide to CO 145 at Placerville and from there, Telluride to Dolores.

No guardrails on US 550 so that plows can move snow (and rocks) over the side with no obstructions; if there were guardrails they would have to be replaced frequently at great expense to the taxpayers.

I believe I was on that ride with you Oss. The bike kept leaning toward the canyon wall and I thought the road was angled until I saw my wife in the mirror leaning way over away from the drop off with no guard rails  2funny  She absolutely hated that road and I thought it was one of the best rides ever.  cooldude
