was 31 when I opened the front door intending to take the car.

But the sun was out and heck, I put the boots on and took the bmw to work

Legs got a bit cool as I hit a certain number well above posted in a few places but what a great day

It seems to me all bikes run better in cooler weather and the 1150 is one of them

I know the Valk LOVES it when temps are under 40 and so do I

Bike parked on White Plains Rd   in the north Bronx today

Looks a lot like my RT1100 I had for a few yeas.

I converted ito to two up and my wife and I enjoyed it for several years before I got the ST1300.

And in Front of the radio box I would be delighted

at least it looks like a police bike so not as tempted to get stolen in NY?     coolsmiley

You are more adventurous then myself at 31 degrees although my commute all hwy. miles 32 miles one way under 32 degrees is too cold for me to handle.  I could do it say 15 miles under 50 mph but 90% of those 32 miles at 32 degrees am a wimp I guess?

This Wednesday/Thursday temps near high 50 here in WI much to my surprise but looked at 7 and 8 a.m. temps still only 32 degrees out.

cookie, the heated grips have 2 settings
I use the low setting while warming up the bike and turn it off when too hot
When my hands are not freezing I am ok all day

Unless my feet are also freezing. My feet stay warmer on the bmw that the Valk, perhaps because
my feet are usually on the highway pegs on the commute or hanging down low on the mickopegs

Would rather ride in the 30s and 40s than the 90s or above any day long as roads are dry
