I'm so sick of listening to Joe Theismann, Joe Namath, Joan Lunden....well maybe not her, I think she's a lovely creature for her age(70) and her voice isn't as irritating as Namath's. They have been hawking the Medicare/Medicare Advantage wares for the last few weeks and today it ends. Now we can go back to our regular programming without hearing the Joe's sounding off like a carnival side show barker every few minutes. It's on every channel it seems.
On a different note...mostly, I was watching an old B&W movie of John Wayne(still with Namath's interruptions) last night; Tall In The Saddle. Who should pop up but grumpy, grouchy, bewhiskered, cantankerous, woman-hating old George Hayes, better known as Gabby Hayes. He spent a lot of time in old "B" westerns, mostly back in the black & white film days. Kinda fun watching the old coot live up to his character of old.
