Distance between the forks is right about 8". Center-to-center on the fork tubes is about 10 and 1/8".

Be careful mounting bright lights near the turn signals. I've seen a few bikes lately with added-on driving lights that are so bright that they "wash out" the light from the signals. I was recently waiting to pull out of a side street when a BMW ADV style bike was approaching. He turned down the road I was waiting to pull out of. As he turned, I saw his turn signal flashing. I never saw it until he started to make the corner, which turned the driving light beams away from my eyes.

You could always hook the driving lights up (with relays) to the running light part of turn signal. That way when you put on signal on the driving light goes out on that side. Kinda like the switchback lights - the amber.

The light at the end of the tunnel, is a train.

My opinion, wire the relay to shut off both auxiliary lights when signaling. When either side is activated.
