For the vets that are eligible for travel pay to the clinic or hospital the new pay system is different. Our area is out of Shreveport VA hospital. The new system is BTSSS, Beneficiary Travel Self Service System. You go on line and submit your claim. The 19th of November I spent an hour figuring out the new system. If you have a  My HealthVet  account it  will not get you in. You need an DS Logon or IDME account. I had  all the accounts. Log on and pick out what you need, you need Travel Pay. They will transfer you to the BTSSS sight. Go to your profile, fill it out or make sure it is right especially the bank and account #s. Go to your dash board and it should bring up your visits you have made. The visit today will show up and the next several appointments. Pick out todays hit create claim and it should go through. I did last months on the day of appointment it took until today to be approved. At my appointment today I asked about it and I was told it is 6 to 8 weeks behind on pay. Todays appointment I just filled out claim and Longview clinic has not put it into the system to confirm. They said it is a mess should not have changed. OH well, it is what it is,  may be linked to Dominion. I will see them next Tuesday about the blood work and go over todays claim. Do a search and get set up before you have to file a travel claim, makes it a lot easier. Some of the guys could not do the keos machine in the clinic, they will have a hard time doing it online. If you do public transit you will have to scan and copy a receipt and send it to them with the claim. This is the fourth change for me on travel pay and more complicated, the older I get the less complicated I would like  it.
