It is amazing to me how so many still love and ride Valkyries yet the aftermarket options (like wheels) are so limited.

Seems a shame, really

Very true.  I would love to have a set of HD Fatboy style (solid) wheels on mine.

It only takes money. Any thing can be made for a price. Ya just can’t be squeamish.

v. car·omed, car·om·ing, car·oms
v.intr.
1. To collide and rebound; glance: The car caromed off the guardrail into the ditch.

It doesn't sound like you want to carom the wheels.   Wink

Here are the options that I know of.  Front wheels can be had, it's the rear that's an issue.

1. Polish stock wheels - Free
2. Paint stock wheels - $
3. Chrome stock wheels - $$$
4. Custom machine wheels - $$$$$$$$$$
5. Utilizing custom machine work and final drive parts from a VTX, Valk and Wing, attempt to make the Valk accept VTX wheels. - $$$$$ (also, it may not be possible but I'm working on it.)

You all had your chance when our bikes were newer  RC Components Made wheels  Valk owners are to tight to buy stuff. I have one of the few sets sold  They threw the molds away . Not enough demand.

I agree, I was one of those tightwads! And I only lived 60 miles from them. But 20 years ago I was more limited, or so I thought, in spending for bright shiney things. Owning the Valkyrie was a stretch for me.
