She often has no filter in her dialogue, last week she was talking about Hunter Biden and his Chinese flame. Tonight she had me cracking up again. Seems a boat washed up on the shore in the Marshall Islands, empty of passengers but loaded with 1500 lbs. of cocaine. She went on to say when the cops were called the 1200 lbs. were confiscated by the local constabulary and all 900 lbs. were checked into the evidence room. Finally, after the paperwork, etc. was done, all 500 lbs. were incinerated.

Reminds me of a story given by the FBO at the airport in Walnut Ridge, Arkansas many years ago when I had to land/RON due to icing conditions. My wife and I were flying the C-172 out to Mountain Home, AR(my parents place) for Thanksgiving. A few months prior a light twin Cessna had landed with engine trouble, the pilot parked and got a ride to a local motel. He was never seen again. The local LEO, call him Willie, noticed it was sitting rather low in back so went to check it out, only find it had curtains inside blocking his view. So Willie gets a local locksmith to open it and lo and behold it was full of weed. As the story goes Willie thought he had hit the motherload but the pilot was nowhere to be found. As the FBO explained, Willie confiscated the load of weed, had it all documented, then sent to the incinerator on the far side of the airport. He said every living animal within a country mile was probably high for the next few hours but that was nothing compared to how Willie made out. Seems he bought a new house a couple months later and parked his new station wagon/patrol car in the 3-car garage. I'm told he also retired a couple years early, claiming health problems. The locals figured his health problems stemmed from his "smoking habit." It apparently was quite the joke in the community for some time.
