I've seen it also. VERY much enjoyed it. Not perfect, but it's going to change the way sci-fi/fantasy movies are made. I'll write up a more extensive review later.

I saw it in 3D at a regular theatre 2 days ago.  It's the most visually stunning movie I've ever seen.  It's a shame, however, how 2 dimensional the characters were.

One can argue the merits of the film if they want to, but one thing's for sure.......movie making will never be the same.  This movie has opened the door.

Exactly.

AND...I've said that once before...in 1977...after watching Star Wars.

Dances with Wolves meets the Lion King and visits The Jetsons.  Cheesy

Looked pretty, glad I didn't see the 3D version cause my popcorn holder would have been dual purpose.

Didn't look as "realistic" as LOTR trilogy. Looked like a long promo for a computer game.

Just saw it-- absolutely amazing. It starts off slow, but the second half of the movie is incredible. Kind of reminded me o fa futuristic Brave Heart.

I'd been avoiding it because of what I'd read about the very preachy political tone of the movie, but finally gave into the hype, we've got tickets for the IMAX 3D showing tonight... Looking forward to it...

Sidenote - It'd been years since I've set foot in a theater. Holy cow have movie tickets gotten expensive! For 2 adults and 1 child it was over $40!!!

We saw it on the regular big screen and enjoyed it. I find IMAX hard to focus on action movies.  I haven't seen the new 3D yet.  I did like the old fashioned double reeled late night 3D back in the day.

Got around and saw it yesterday in a regular theater. It was pretty good. It really reminded me of the stuff I read of history of the West during the mid 1800's.  Undecided
