Florida Issues "Falling Iguana" Warning As Temps Plunge
At about 50F, iguanas can become lethargic. When the temperature drops below 40F, their blood doesn't move around as quickly. As a result, iguanas can be temporarily paralyzed and fall out of trees, potentially striking a passerby.

Was driving down the street and one ran in front of me that was about 5 foot long. He made it across but kind of startled me. i can imagine what a Christmas present that would be to have one fall on you.
