Very nice!

Is Blue more powerful the the Valk? Smoother? What would you say stands out as big differences between the two?

I haven't ridden any of the newer Honda big bikes, sorry for all the questions..

there is noticeably more power in the V1800. It's a rocket ship.

I need to adjust the gear lever so I can get my Bates boot under it. At the moment I'm using the edge / sole of the boot. It's Chewing It Up.

Apart from that all I have to do is remember to lift my feet higher to the foot pegs. I think I'll get some plates made so I can drop the pegs about an inch. I don't think that will have any effect on ground clearance, there's  plenty of it.

I added a heel shifter.

I found that you can't adjust the gear lever. I bought some Kuryakyn mini premium floorboards. Those are adjustable and should give me the toe room I need under the gear lever.

I got the Kuryakyn floorboards with the heel shifter.  They were a Goldwing product, put were a perfect fit.
