As anyone who has served overseas can attest, there is nothing quite like receiving a package from home. Having someone visit, especially in a combat zone, is just unheard-of.
The other day I came across some Bob Hope USO tours on YouTube featuring Raquel Welsh. I remember watching them live on TV with the likes of Connie Francis. Joey Heatherton, Ann Margret, Martha Rey, and more. All great Americans.
