Just got the call from MadernaTX, they are “Un-Blinding” the study and will inform us whether we got the placebo or the vaccine.   Those who got the placebo will be offered the vaccine at their next appointment.  Mine is next week 12 January.

Interesting, from the FDA meeting I watched they were leaning towards keeping it blind, but offering everyone a 2nd shot, those who had the placebo would get the real thing, and vice versa, without letting 'em know which one they'd initially got...

Either way, jealous that you've either got it or will shortly.

Interestingly, upon checking the mail this PM, there I found a letter telling me the same things I was told on the phone today.   It was postmarked on 30 December.   We all know nothing happens administratively in organizations as large as MadernaTX the same day a decision is made so, that makes me believe this was decided last week.

BTW, something I missed on the phone call is we will be receiving a COVID 19 vaccination card in addition to learning what we received.
