Is the Hotel sold out?

The online inventory says GZ hotel is sold out. I need to confirm that with Lori (she is keeping the hand count).

We have an overflow hotel ready to go, if it is indeed sold out.
Next door or near ?

Near.

OK, that got my attention.
Admittedly, I haven't signed up yet, still have a few irons in the fire to take care of.
How near?
Is there a pricing difference?
Is there a similar breakfast deal at the overflow hotel?

Curious minds want to know....

I don’t know if we will make it yet. But I hope it isn’t too far. I felt bad for the guys that were in the overflow hotel in Spearfish. It seemed like they got left out of a lot of the experience.

As of right now, the GZ hotel is full.

The overflow hotel is 3 miles away.  Rooms starting at $99.

If cancellations at GZ become available, the earliest registrants will be contacted and given the option to fill them.  So, if ya want a shot at a cancellation, register soon.

Three miles?  OK, that's works.   That should be far enough from the Main GZ those of us staying there can get some rest.   2funny
Shouldn't be an issue.   cooldude
Now, I just have to confirm the person I'm rooming with is still going.

And first in line for cancellation at GZ.  BTW, you didn't reserve a room at the overflow.

The overflow hotel is a good quality hotel with easy access to Ground Zero.  Due to the number of Inzane attendees there should be a fair number of our folks at the backup.  That will lend itself to being able to socialize with other InZaniacs.

OK, signed up for Inzane. Had an issue on my end. When I went to register I did the Hotel, train ride, scavenger hunt, a t-shirt, and a pin. Hit check out and made the purchase. THEN I realized I needed to start with the "Full registration" box after wondering about the Thursday meal, which I passed on as it said it was included in the "Full registration". (This was the point I realized my error)

So, I went ahead and did the "Full registration" and made that purchase.

If I figured right, I would be getting a second event pin for free and the rest is good.

Am I correct?

Thanks.

Connie,

Likewise! Spoke with Ron earlier and he does intend to register... Sounds like it might be one of those 'the check is in the mail' things, but I'll threaten him with a visit or something... that should do the trick.

225....woohoo, would love to see another 50-75 so we can approach or hit 300. That would make a fantastic gathering with all those quiet, reserved introverts in one place. Just think of the innocent(?) mischief that would abound during that week.  Roll Eyes

Well now!  I am registered and I have booked a place to stay.  I even have a couple of roomies to share the cost of the room.

Weird thing is that the “Who’s going” page says that I am from TX.  I’m still living in Tennessee and have no plans to move ......... maybe someone has plans for me that I am unaware of!

See ya’all there!

That is so true!  After visiting that building and looking at the grounds around it, I cannot imagine the depth of determination and grit of anyone that would decide to defend that building in the face of such an overwhelming confrontation!  I was even more surprised at the list of names and origins of those that did so!  Several “honorary” Texans died there!  Up until I actually visited that shrine, I had only heard of one.

Yep, I got the train tickets and am looking forward to that event.   Have always loved trains.  I even invited my BIL to come along.   He's the one with three or four of those "Speeder" work crew rail thingies.

If, he comes along, it'll just be for the train ride.  He's an "mechanical" engineer and works for Cummins, can't spend the week with us.
