My brother in law who is not fond of motorcycles and knows zero about them has done me right. He not only bought me a Guardian Bell, but he did some research and bought me  a "Dragon Bell" for my new Valkyrie.

Sweet.  My ex-wife gave me a sterling bell that hangs from my license plate.  Not as good a location as yours.

That's where I first placed mine. There's a nice solid V-shaped tube stock behind the license plate. I though a perfect secure location for the bell. It found it's way to the original location of my 1500 Valkyrie. This bell is heavy and solid, the first bell I can actually here, even with the helmet on putting her on the side stand I can easily here it ring. It's from the Deal's Gap store.

Although the sterling bell I received from my ex-wife looks very nice, it doesn't work, kind of like my ex-wife.  I can never hear it ring.  But, I couldn't hear the bell that it replaced either.
