Just wondered if anyone has installed Fog lights in 1999 GL1500CF ?  Noticed the factory ones aren't available anymore.

Thank you

They're like highly desirable unobtainium  Wink ...

I think of the cowl lights on my 1800 Valkyrie as
being functionally equivalent to the motolights
on my 1500... of course the alternatives aren't
functionally swell looking...

The Lights are sealed Fog LEDs trimmed with vacuum line cut in a jig. Lights are mounted in adjustable fixtures. The adjustments were made and tested for a number of miles before the holes were cut using a jig to properly locate them in the pods; you only get one chance to get it right. The light beam is set so it overlaps slightly in the center and reach well beyond the ditch.

I used the 2” Harley turn signal sockets with duel LED adapter and chrome visor covers. Custom made bracelets to mount to pod. They worked out great, bright but not quite bright enough for spot lights.

I thought this was a video, but can’t find it. They also flash amber with the turn signals.

The same question Jims. Any chance to see more pics? On day light and how did you manage inside the pods pls??
I would like to install some small led lights rather then fog lights.
Thanks jiri

Go here to view the lights and how they function.
Using to large of a diameter light will change the fit and the trim you will have to make do to the curvature of the Pods.

This is the direction l went because I wanted to have sealed and up-to-date LED lighting.
