So I finally got my carb rebuild kit. Working on getting it all back together. Wondering how to get the needle off the diaphragm to replace it. Also do I have to separate all the carbs to replace the fuel rail o rings? Thanks for the help. Getting excited to hear her run again.

Yes. I have a all balls kit and it comes with a new needle? I am really good a breaking things and didn't want to chance ripping the diaphragm.

Take a cover screw and thread it into the top of the square needle holder. It is threaded. Pull on the screw and the needle holder assembly will come out. The holder has an O-ring on it. The needle has a washer at the top. After you replace the O-ring and the needle and washer, drop the needle into the diaphragm holder. the holder with the O-ring will slide in and then snap into the diaphragm piece. If your new needles have clips, you will need to put them on prior to snapping the holder back in. Stock needles do not have clips.

Mooskee thanks much. Made that easy. Hoping to get the carbs finished and reinstalled tomorrow.
