Hey Computer Geeks,

I need your help please.  I recently bought a new laptop, running Windows 10 and Microsoft 365 personal.  I have been without a laptop and was only using my phone for email for some time now.  I have added my email, stratoblaster@wideopenwest.com to outlook, but get nothing.  I'd like to import my emails into outlook but am not having any success.  I cam still receive and send email on my phone, but not through outlook.  Any thoughts?  BTW, I tried searching support, but wasn't able to resolve the issue.  Thanks in advance.

Most email packages need to be told the POP3 / IMAP server to pull your email down, and an SMTP server for sending (it's better if you can get the encrypted versions of these that are on different ports than the unencrypted ones). SO you need to check wideopenwest.com's support pages for this info, usually under email settings for external clients.

Thanks.  I entered the info on the servers that I've used in the past, but I'll do some of the research you suggested and see what I can find.  My next step was going to be call wideopenwest's support and get some help if I can't resolve it.

Thanks Mike,

Thank you both.  I think I got it working, at least I can see mail in my folders now.  It is strange that it took several tries and I used the same settings as on my phone account, which are different than those in the document you sent Mike.

Any way, I'm just glad it works and thanks again.  Yinz guys are the greatest.
