I’ve had this planned for a while now. When I first chromed a bunch of stuff under influence of Mello dude blingification project (wheels, forks, tree, everything on the bars, all associated hardware, etc.) I didn’t do the calipers as I didn’t collect enough parts at that time so I went on the mission to get it complete at a later time and now this time has come.
Got the rear bracket and the caliper finally put together and swapped (I know the irony and stupidity of this as it is hidden behind the hard bags, but I know its there Smiley). Since I hated the last set of brake pads it was also a nice excuse to go in there.
Also did the front calipers.
I like the look of the bare naked chrome calipers better vs what I had there as a temporary chrome/bling fix with the caliper covers

This is the previous setup with the covers:

I think addition of chromed caliper mounted Motolight is also a nice touch Smiley

YAY! I like calipers better than covers.

I bet you could sell a set of good caliper covers to about a million people,
they are hard to find.

I have Cobra fender rails hidden behind my hard bags  coolsmiley ...

It sez "bitubo" on it.

Another member got bitubo shocks on his Valkyrie from Traxxion Dynamics,
I think a lot of their suspension mojo... I'd like to try a pair of them.

Your work has paid off!  I also like the looks of the calipers over the covers.  I've also heard the covers are known for trapping a bunch of brake dust and should be removed on occasion for thorough cleaning.

These are BiTubo, I got them through my mechanic's shop (they are suspension specialists/guru among other things and they tuned all my bikes). They can be purchased directly I bet too. I love them, they have both preload and rebound adjustments and can be precisely dialed in. Also, on the fly adjustments are quite easy if you need to go from 1 up to 2 up for instance.

https://www.bitubo.com/Bitubo/cms/ENG/cerca-per-la-tua-moto.html.

Looks like they have several versions available. Looks like an Italian company. Shocks sell for € 338.00, or about $410 plus VAT shipping etc..
