For all of us that has been wanting to get a good look at Daves Valkyrie.
I finally got down to see The widddde Tire Valk today.  Had my little JVC digital video camera with me and Dave said I could post this for the VRCC.
I hope he Hi-Jacks this thread as there is way too much done to this bike that I wouldn't even try to explain

Alph, it's sort of like a funny car sounds, versus a BMW sedan's purr. Too much cam, ignition advance, and intake pressure to idle like a stock Valkyrie.  Smiley It has almost 250 hp versus around 100 for a stocker.  One day I'll get to meet Dogg and see his awesome bike in person.

Dave was kind enough to invite me for Delmava bike week , he put me up in his home..great people. The bike is even more awsome at night with the LEDS embedded in the wheels. OMG what a head turner. I used to getting some attention with my Interstate , but not when I was with Dave. One word of caution, if you ride next to him, wear ear plugs..LOL

Hey Goody:  Thanks a million for the video. That is a very interesting bike.  You may want to consider switching to de-caff.

We trudge on.

the wife and i was guests of dave and his wifes for a night as we picked up a tourer that dave found. i actually had the pleasure of going for a little ride with dave and his beast. i was about two bike lengths behind him when he motioned for me to go for it. well, wanting to see how the new bike ran i down shifted to third and hit the throttle. the bike jumped up to 105 by the time i passed him and was still climbing in speed. it was at this time i heard the throttle open up on daves bike and he was past me in seconds. all i can say is what a bike.

Ill post pics of the swingarmand mods done in the pics section. It was a hairpulling, nail biting experience but, I wouldnt change anything(other than the stiff job i got on my paint). Swingarm was 1 year to make, because of a 3 degree offset on the driveshaft, it took 3 tries to get it to a point where it didnt twist the driveshaft inhalf. I still broke both of them 3 times but, now it is fixed correctly and I wont be doing that anymore. I appriciate the interest. Really. alot of love intis bike...

Wow? had a lot of conversations with Bill at Magnacharger, years ago the most HP he had seen on the Dyno with a (read out) was 210 hp. but of coarse this was done with a 50 MM Mikuni and the larger Blower "no" NOS. very impressive  Wink

Those numbers are amazing.  I don't think my pickup has that much torque.  You could tow a house trailer behing that monster.

That is just sick man.   You took a perfectly engineered motorcycle and turned into a space ship.  I can understand some performance mods. but that is over the top.  Can I take it out for a spin?

No,I'm sure it had a price. I wouldn't wanna add it all up either but I'm sure it made it worth a little expense!

THAT THING ROCKS ! !   Are the HP and torque figures with or with out nitrous?

in this months issue of Wing World Magazine there a add placed by Gene's Gallery in Springfield MO, for a 98 valkyrie with a blower, custom cams, NOS and a air shifter, CLAIMS 400HP

fstsix said there was one with a dyno reading of 210hp without NOS

i guess if you can put enough nos to it 400 is reachable
