Story at-a-glance

Early on in the COVID-19 pandemic, doctors around the world reported high success rates using an inexpensive treatment protocol of hydroxychloroquine (HCQ) and zinc, typically in combination with an antibiotic to treat secondary bacterial infections
A medical review in the January 2021 issue of The American Journal of Medicine now urges early use of HCQ and zinc to reduce hospitalizations and deaths from COVID-19
HCQ is a zinc ionophore, meaning it shuttles zinc into the cell, and there’s compelling evidence to suggest the primary benefit of the HCQ protocol actually comes from the zinc, which effectively inhibits viral replication
For patients with cardinal features of COVID-19 (fever, body aches, nasal congestion, loss of taste and smell) at-home treatment can be the same as those with confirmed COVID-19, the authors say
While media headlines have painted HCQ as a life-threatening drug, it actually has a very robust safety profile that goes back decades

the drug cartel companies and medical hospital industry can only make insane fortunes from federal tax dollars with new poisonous injections.
the USDA food pyramid and the health food vegan industry push high grain and raw vegetable diets, both which are high in phytic acid WHICH PREVENTS absorption of essential minerals esp ZINC.
Zinc and copper are two trace minerals essential for important biochemical functions and necessary for maintaining health throughout life. Several national food surveys revealed marginally to moderately low contents of both nutrients in the typical American diet.

The French seem to agree.. they don't trust big pharma and big government being in bed together, and for good reason in my view. These institutions have earned the skepticism they now face.

Argentina’s IVERCAR Ivermectin & Carrageenan Study Shows Positive Results Targeting COVID-19. This and other studies, whether observational or peer reviewed and published show great promise in prevention of symptomatic infection.

I know you've mentioned this before and were (scorned?) for it.. There are promising developments around the world being ignored by many or our medical 'superiors' here and in other countries. The fact that the media and government agencies work hard to discredit anything but vaccines tells me a lot about what their goals and agenda look like.

The American Journal of Medicine article, which I bothered to look up
and scan through, says (this is my summary) that "HCQ and zinc aren't
useless."

So, people who are terrified of the virus wouldn't be wasting their time
using them prior to being able to get the vaccine. People who would
prefer them over the vaccine? I've said too much already  2funny ...

I'm going to keep on wearing a mask at the grocery store, only taking
my keys and credit card into the grocery store, and spritzing my
hands and keys and credit card with my little bottles of 80% alcohol
when I get back into the car. I don't care anything about taking zinc
or HCQ.

Please pray for my sister, who has tested positive, and her husband,
who in in the hospital with major complications. My wife's brother
is out of the hospital now, I sure do look forward to the grocery
store calling me up and telling me that it is my turn to get a dose
of that vaccine  cooldude ...

Can't deny something that hits so close to home it is knocking on your door.  Prayers out for your family Mike.

HCQ and zinc are apparently effective therapeutics.  Not sure they work as a prophylaxis yet but even if they do you'd probably have a tough time getting your doctor to write you a scrip for it.

The current vaccines appear to work great for inoculation.  Choose your weapons carefully.  Or, choose none at all.  Your call.

Ya might check with your local hospitals to see if they have a working stockpile of HCQ, zink and other therapeutics just in case.  I know our little hospital has none.

The American Journal of Medicine now finally admits what they have known for a long time.. too little honesty and way too late, this is a perfect example of our medical superiors carrying a false narrative at the expense of the American People. HCQ could have and should have helped save many people.

Politics over truth, money over people's lives.. That's a sad and hard truth, hydroxychloroquine was used very successfully in many many places throughout the world. It should have been in our arsenal early on to battle this demon virus all along when we could have used the help.

Prayer up for your loved ones Mike.

Trump's mentioning was a death sentence.

Why can the A-holes (I won't give them the curtesy of referring to them as people) not be held accountable for their decision to refuse patients access to a FDA approved medication.  If any sought HCQ for treatment of Covid, were refused access and died from covid as a result, medical malpractice at least, involuntary manslaughter possibly?

I would think a governor, with no medical training, would be extra guilty if they banned it's use.  What say our resident legal eggspurts?

Well, duh.  I've seen it work many, many times.  Then Trump had the audacity to mention it.

Our governor banned its use outside of the hospital.  It works better the earlier it's given.  I wish someone would sue the hell out of him... personally... not out of government funds.

It appears HCQ/zinc may indeed be a prophylaxis against getting COVID.  Where can I get me some?  Semi-serious here, if I could I would.

Why aren't the folks that went along with the preposterous notion that drug that has been used world wide for over half a century, should be restricted and with held from people it could have saved, not being charged with dereliction of duty at a minimum, and manslaughter/murder if they actively withheld it?  This includes  scientists, doctors, and especially governors of MI.  Hanging is too good for her in my book.
