What's the deal with this singer I've never heard of and why is the field full of dancers with jock straps over their faces?!?!?!
I'm so confused now...
You're confused? I usually don't watch or follow pro sports but my wife and family love'em. My wife has the Super Bowl on today and I am compelled to watch as well. It isn't so much that I'm "confused" it is more like finding one's self in a really weird drug induced nightmare in a different universe. Cardboard fans. Some real ones mixed in. Referees wearing masks on the field while the player are not wearing them. A cameo by a mask less President stressing the need to always wear them. A social justice campaign to rival the Crusades. Sound track cheering. More social justice. Social justice commercials. Didn't watch the half time show. Brady and Gronk back for an encore performance. From Patriots to Pirates. Kinda like Trump supporters the media portrays. Surprised they ain't canceled yet for white privilege or something stupid. An advertisement for Beer that has no alcohol. Let me repeat that, there was an ad FOR Beer that has no alcohol because it had NO ALCOHOL. What have we done? lighten up Francis, my Michigan Man turned G.O.A.T. Has just become a legend.

Well, I wasn't completely wrong. Really depends on the defenses or actually, the offensive lines.
SNIP
But, if Tampa Bay gets to Mahomes, just turn that score around. Neither team has an outstanding backup should either starting QB get hurt. Should be a good game.
Will be pulling for the Chiefs.
Rams
Congrats to the Bucs. IMHO, the entire TB defense should be MVP. Rams

Well...FWIW, I didn't watch any of the game. Subzero temps outside so stayed in and stayed warm. Worked on my taxes, watched some old westerns, now 2144 hrs. and I'm going to hit the sack soon. Will probably watch some TV in bed for a while then shut down. Guess I'll find out the final score tomorrow.

Looks like I owe Gig a refreshing drink. That's OK, my biggest disappointment was how lop sided the game was. I really expected a close game. So did Vegas. Bookies all over Vegas are crying. Rams

There really isn't any debate. Tom Brady is now the greatest football player of all time. Anyone who debates this is just a hater.
Tom Brady has the highest winning % in the top 4 sports The Bucs had the lowest winning % in the top 4 sports
No, he's not the greatest thrower. Aaron Rodgers has a better arm but it doesn't matter. Tom Brady elevates any team he is on and is a SuperBowl winning machine.

I'm not ready to crown him the greatest player of all time. Greatest, most accomplished QB of all time ? Absolutely, even before this season. I can think of a few players (mostly running backs) I would put ahead of him.

Brady's got a Gronk. That what makes him great.

Sure, there are some out there with 4 rings...Franco Harris etc. But are they playing to the level of Tom Brady for as many years? I wouldn't think so.

BREAKING: NFL announces all future Super Bowls will be held in Dallas in order to assure no team ever gets home-field advantage again.
If the two NY football teams didn't play in the same stadium in NJ, it would be safe to pick where the NY Jets call home to avoid a home team ever again. 51 years now, that the NY Jets haven't made it to the Superbowl. Other than a wildcard in the 80's (I think), they haven't even made the playoffs. And they're in the number one market in the world and they can't put a winning team together. Them and the NY Knicks (going on 48 years for them).
