Nothin' like winter in Arizona's low country

No flashing "Icy Road" signs.

Turned down a job many years ago in Bullhead City at their hospital, when on the day of my interview, I arose and walked outside of the hotel room at 8 AM to a temperature of 90* and rising to a high of 110* at about 2 PM. That temp plus the humidity from the Colorado pushed the "don't think so" meter into the red zone. I believe it was in late June or early July.
Surprised by the number of hay fields around the area until it was explained to us that the area's native population utilized their land and aquifer rights to irrigate large tracts of their property growing some beautiful alfalfa hay. Land was pretty cheap back in 1985 there, subdivisions being constructed, and people moving into the Arizona side en masse. Haven't been back since and I figure that it's been built up pretty deep. Besides the low wages they offered and Laughlin just being across the bridge, I would have been broke in a couple of years of being too close to the devil's craps tables.
Still though, the thought of warm winters (although the locals said the winds could be ferocious at times) on horseback and motorcycle was inviting.

Still is.

Nice riding area for you I presume.
A good loop with a snack and home for dinner. Swell.
