I just purchased another interstate upon doing my big detail and check over noticed the one bolt on the starter is broke ( I though was just missing but bolt is in there) going by the cleanliness and shape of bolts on the Kuryakyn transmission covers, it’s been this way for a long time???

Should I worry about it or is it going to cause issues?
It is the one directly above fluid reservoir

If you think there would be enough sticking out of the block once the starter is removed so you can either grab it with vise grips or lock a couple nuts onto it, I’d give a college try at a removal

Took your advise loosened  starter enough to slid back and I have like 1/4  to grab not long enough to fit two nuts so tried the Bose grips can seem to get a grip just rounding off bolt
I soaked it in on blaster and Will attempt again in morning

+1 good suggestion.

I didn't look, is there 2 or 3 mounting points? 3, like the alternator, and it's been that way for a whole, I wouldn't worry, but try to fix like you're doing.

Good luck.

Maybe some heat? Heat gun or hair dryer?

Lots of good suggestions here.
I take a nut, set it over the stud that’s left and weld the nut to the stud. Now you have a hex head bolt again that has been heated.

I think you're on right track with PB & heat. Be patient and wiggle it back and forth with each application. It should eventually break loose as there seems to be little room to approach otherwise with any power assisted tools other than a right angle air grinder at best. Patience.
