on paypal  use the friends and family
(cause pay pal does not get a cut when you use friends and family! )
send to Ossvalk@gmail.com
in the comments mention BIGBF and say who you are

First thing is Rams has been trying to reach Bills's family to see if they need him to get the truck and trailer back to Phoenix from Dallas area
He does not want  reimbursement  the fund is for bills family
If anyone (Mike or Connie?) can reach out to Bills wife or son so Ron knows if his services are needed...... I dont remember if she signs or what...and who has their contact info

After that I would get the $ where it has to go but 1st lets get his truck and workshop back home IMHO

Ron you are a stand up guy for offering to drive from MS to Dallas to Phoenix and home again

glad to help in this small way

I've been PM'ing with Ron.  We're getting it worked out.  Ron now has Bill's brother, mom, and dad contact info.  Communication with Bill's wife can be tough, I think she prefers to pass the buck to Thad on coordination anyway.  Bill's parents have no idea whether or not Bill had life insurance.

Costs that we would like to help cover include:
Fuel costs for truck/trailer, we don't know what kind of mileage he'll get.
Cost for Bill to be flown from TX to Phx
    Cremation and Services
    Hotel rooms at InZane.

FYI.  We've invited the family to attend InZane, where we will present the poster, signed by all attendees.  We won't charge for registration, but some help with hotel costs would be helpful.

RainMaker (Mark) said they can pick up Rams at the airport and host him overnight, if needed.

Connie is correct, she has provided me with contact numbers and I have now spoken with Bill's dad.
We're working out the details.   Connie has been a real blessing to Bill's family and I sincerely appreciate what's she's done to assist them.

Bill was a great guy and a good friend to all of us but, he was special to me.   We'll figure it out.

Rams

So very good of you to make this offer Ron.    angel

How about Venmo?

And if Rainmaker has any conflicts or issues, depending on the exact date/time, put me down as an alternate to getting Rams from the airport to Duncanville...

Does friends and family mean to use the XOOM service.

The friends and family is redirecting to XOOM, is that correct?

Click send money.
Enter Ossvalk@gmail.com
Enter amount
Add note (Big BF and your name/handle)
Next page, click sending to a friend.
Choose your payment method (bank, CC, DC - small service fee for cards)

That should be it... didn't redirect to XOOM.

I've tried to be low profile on this (I'm just the driver) but, thought I should let folks know that any funds donated to this account will not in any way, shape or form pass through my hands nor be held or accepted by me.
This fund is to get Bill's rig home and help his family bury him.

In an effort to help, Bill's Dad is picking up the vast majority of what it costs to get Bill's rig home to his family.   I have no idea if there is any life insurance involved, I haven't asked but, I know it's going to take a pretty penny to get Bill home and buried.   I know it's not going to be cheap getting his rig home but, I think we have that taken care of.

Wanted to thank all those that have contributed to this fund, you folks are truly saints in my opinion.  Thank you from the bottom of my heart for helping Bill's family lay him to rest.   I'm no fortune teller so, I don't know what the future holds for Bill's family but, every dime will help.

Rams

No worries on my end on the use of any funds by you or anyone else involved, it never even entered my mind so don’t feel as though you’re going to be held to an accounting of anything.

Just have a safe trip all the way and back home.

You all are so awesome!!  It looks like about $5700 has been donated so far.  The family is blown away and so grateful.  Bill did not have life insurance, but his wife has a small policy through her work.

Just an update on approximate costs for the items mentioned previously.
$500 (estimate) - Expenses to take truck/trailer to Phx.
$5000 - Funeral home in TX, arrangements and Bill's flight to Phx
$2700 - Funeral home in Phx and cremation services
    $900 - 2 Hotel rooms at InZane.

Well, Bill was a unique part of the family and I think everyone can see that whether they used his services or not. I would expect every penny plus excess to eventually be donated. The loss of Big BF is a big loss indeed. It has become very real to me in the last few years that tomorrow is not guaranteed for any of us. Your life can be changed in an instant forever so easily especially the older we get. I hope we eased some of the hardship for his family. Thank you all who are actually doing the things that need done.

Woohoo!  VRCC members and the Valkyrie community rock.  A total $6429 has been raised so far.  $6079 Oss PayPal acct, plus $350 that our members donated to a Go Fund Me (it may be more, but I only counted names I recognized).

$4000 has been sent to the family to help with funeral home in TX and Bill's flight home.

Do you know if these are still available to order?

I just heard about them myself last night.

The spousal unit told me about them, but she was under the impression that they were sold out.

The link seems to active, I wouldn't mind ordering a couple.

Do you know if these are still available to order?

I just queried Oz on his thread, I'll relay his response...

oZ isn't pre-ordering, so as long as the link is active, you can order.

If you want some other color choices or if you need size 4X or 5X, use this link
https://f6rider.com/collections/t-shirts/products/bill-big-bf-ferguson

Otherwise use the link Serk posted.
