Has anyone put the OEM Honda Triple tips on and Interstate? Do the piggies need to be modified?

Yes they fit, and I am not 100% positive but I believe the piggies were still in those pipes.

I think you'll have to cut interstate piggies to make triple tips fit.

I cut off my Tourer piggies, extended them with some perfect-fit
pipes that Punisher located. That made them line up with the
triple tips and I made them come to the end...

Yes they will fit if you trim the piggies an inch or two. only 2 screws will line up but they will hold the tips.

Optionally you could bend the piggies  to align with the pipes.

I used the first technique when I installed them on my IS.

I would like to get a set of triple tips at a reasonable price.

If you install them the way Honda intended, all three screws line up  cooldude ...

I don't believe Honda would ever make or sell a product that would require modification of the exhaust system.  Honda is very particular when they design an exhaust system for a bike and modifying it is not something Honda wants done to it.
