Wow, I didn't know he died. We talked about him this past riding season, how he just packed up and moved south and started a selling wine. So sad.

Vito(Tom) and I grew up together in Hyde Park. I hadn't seen him over 30 years when we met again at a VRCC function. We travelled together to Paducah for one of the Inzanes. Met up in Surgis in 2004 and road the Black Hills together. I had no idea he had passed. We used to correspond when he moved to Ashville and opened a wine store. Then he let me know he was moving to Vegas a couple of years ago. Hadn't heard from him for a while and now I know why. So sad to read this.  Cry
God rest your Soul old friend. Will ride with you again on the roads on the other side.

After Tom moved to North Carolina, we didn't interact other than posting on this Board. Since I'm retired and have time to waste on a cold winter day, when I saw Tom's  picture, I decided to Google him for curiosity sake. I reviewed the search results until I found information about him and it was his Obit.

It's sad that he passed at only 71. I'm not there yet but hope to live considerably longer than 71. But in a strange way, Tom's Obit was uplifting. Who would have thought that Tom would finish his life as a special needs teacher? Amazing!

Kathy and I visited him in Asheville right after he moved. It was a great palace and he seemed busy while we were there.
His hospitality was as you would think it would be. He was a great guy. I always looked to learning from him about wines and brandys.
Rest in peace, smooth roads and following breeze my friend.
