Hi, Mike. I got your text the other day, was busy, and then forgot to respond.  Undecided Sorry. I haven’t had any luck with good motorcycle mechanics here. What is going on with your clutch and fork seal ?

Hi Rob, hows things?
Clutch issue im having is the clutch doesnt seem to be disengaging. As soon as i shift from N to 1st it just does a learch and cuts out. It doesnt seem to be a safety cut off, like a kickstand sensor switch and clutch handle has resistance, its not spongy. If i was to give a guess.
A. Severly stuck clutch plates
B. Bad slave cylinder/spring and clutch just isnt disengaged.

Ive had issues with transporting (ratchet strap, which leads to fork seal problem) this past trip out west. Ive bled the line thinking it got air in the line but no change. It was workin fine before this last trip across country.

Fork seals, as i said ive had the bike fall/lean in the trailer a couple times this trip and after a not so good day and it was leanin, i kinda went monkey on it. Think i remember sayin to myself "Fing thing isnt comin loose again. Ugh
I had a puddle of fluid under the forks a  later when i checked it again.

Sandy thanks for stepin up and i may need to make a run to peoria for something else so i just might take you up on that. Ill pm you my # or i can just post here when i know more, waitin on parts for a ebike at the moment
Thanks

Doing good. Hope you are well. I’m thinking maybe a rebuild on the master cylinder and slave may be in order. These clutches are pretty bullet proof minus the rivet issue. And your symptoms don’t sound like it. Have you noticed any instances of not being able to pull in the lever completely ? It sounds like you may have blown out the fork seals.

Fork seal. Can it be just dirt causing the seal to leak. There is the 35mm film trick, along with "Seal Doctor" or something. Most seal leaks seem to be dirt allowing fluid to leak out.

Also the clutch, could it be the rivets fallen out and interrupting in the plates spacing.
