Free food non-valk

  We have three renters in our building.
 Two of them get food from the food banks.  Our garbage cans (50 gallon toters) are over full on pick up day.  Care to guess what is inside.  I spoke to the waste hauler and he said it is a common problem. Fresh food going to the land fill.
 I spoke to the renters about the waste.  Both said "if we do not take the food , we will be cut off."
 How about taking less. :It is an allotment".

There’s always the people at the intersection with signs. Maybe,just maybe they could use the over flow.

I had to stop eating lunch with my kids at school; seeing plate after plate of untouched food that I had paid for being dumped straight into the trash made me lose my appetite.

          On the other hand I attempt to be Careful about What and How Much I purchase. Mom and Dad both survived the depression and their using every thing up carried over to us children. But when a bargain comes up that I can freeze I AM all over it! And my next door Neighbor has already told me what he is planting veggie wise this year!  And I've been and helped daprez move those cans he's talking about. And the Navy had a saying that was more like an Order-take all you want but eat all you take. The or else was implied.  RIDE SAFE.
