I don't know what difference the 2" inlet would make because it gets cut off anyway. I guess what method of mod you are going to use. I did my own mod and used the Que-Express' Glass Pack Mod, which I liked the sewage nipple as a collector to promote even flow. Also if I wanted to change my muffler I just had to screw a new on. Far as cherry bombs I had them on my Chevelle and I raddled my neighbors dishes, they were outrageously loud, I switched to turbo mufflers. I don't know if it would be the same on a bike. I figured that length would be a factor, that is why I went 18" instead of 12". I guess far as the outlet if you need to you could go from 2 1/2" to a 2" reducer. I think I made a good choice, because when we start our bikes the HD's are louder then my Valk. It don't get loud till you crank the throttle. I want be loud enough that people to know I am there at a light, but not to annoy them. I hope this helps.

My hornies were 2in and I didn't rejett anything. I used the header mufflers and cut the flange off and welded the mufflers right to the cut off end of the cans.

I am going to do my glasspack mod soon I found Magnaflow (10444 or 14444) have 2"in and out. and I always liked Magnaflow performance and sound I will post pics and sound demos when done but it will be a while. I say that but when I get started I will likely work long hours till it's done, I wish I could put something down and take a break once started.  Embarrassed
