I thought I posted this thread yesterday but I don't see it here, it's a mystery.

I'm trying to trouble shoot the cause of my cooling fan not coming on.  I've read the appropriate sections of the manual and wanted to have a look at the wiring diagram when I discovered the wiring diagrams in the PDF of the service manual I downloaded are of such low quality that I can't make out wire colors or even the names of the components.

Does anyone have a decent copy of the wiring diagram for my 1998 C model?

Thanks.

I purchased a copy of the Honda Service Manual only to find that I got an expensive photo copy bound nicely. The wiring diagrams are not in color and are not high quality.

I also have a Clymer manual. Here are the color wiring diagrams for the 1997-1999 GL1500C/CT Interstate. Hope it helps.

I looked back at this and realized I had posted the same page twice instead of page 1 and 2. I corrected the post. Sorry about that. It wasn't meant to be an April fools joke! angel

I haven't posted on this in years. You'll find offers on fleabay for a Service Manual (CD or digital), and all it is is a copy of the PDF which is already available for free.

If you can find a hard copy, most are also just photocopies printed off the PDF, and bound. Usually very nice. I had a working link for one of those, but it was for $30 (reasonable), not $100 (extortion).

The Clymer manual is always a good repair manual, and I bought one too. $20?

As for the wire diagrams, there used to be one posted by Rattlebars, but now can only be found in Archive links. I thought I had the links, but I only have PDFs of the different circuits. If you want what I have, email me, and I'll send them to you.

Thanks Gordon.  I have the one you linked to.  That's the one I couldn't see well enough to use.  The one posted by Mooskee showed what I needed.  After testing I believe the switch in the radiator is bad.

Mooskee
Those writing diagrams are excellent. However when I download them it appears to be page the entire page 478 and 1/4 of page 479. The next file is 1/4 of 482 and the entire page 483.
Is there any chance you have the pages 479-482?
Regards
