RAM Mounts has many clamps that will mount your GoPro in various places. The handlebar and engine guard is 2 places that will work.

Didn't you have a mounting kit with the GoPro? I bought 1st gen, and have a bunch of extra batteries and mounting kit.

I've the mount with the tape on it. Then the clip with different elbows you can change out.

I used the RAM mounts for my GPS. Expensive, but quality.

Not sure about gopro but this company has what looks like nice phone mounts although I haven't tried one. Read the warning about certain iphones related to their camera.

https://www.tackform.com/collections/motorcycle-phone-mounts

Here is the iphone warning:
NOTICE: iPhone 11, 11 Pro, 12, and 12 Pro Users
Recent consumer complaints related to Apple’s iPhone 11, 11 Pro, 12, and 12 Pro cameras have become increasingly frequent on Apple's support portal and other tech-related media channels. Users are reporting failures with the new camera systems, found on the iPhone 11, 11 Pro, 12, and 12 Pro stemming from vibrations associated with mounting iPhone 11, 11 Pro, 12, and 12 Pro on ATVs, Mountain Bikes, Off-Road vehicles, and Motorcycles.

As a precautionary measure, we specifically encourage users of the iPhone 11, 11 Pro, 12, and 12 Pro to avoid mounting these on their bikes.
