Thanks Mike (hubcapsc) for letting me follow you out to Hattiesburg and for posting some great pics from the ride. Lots of fun!

Here's another shot of the Lynyrd Skynyrd stop.

Thanks SmokinJoe for recommending the Windsor Ruins. Well worth a visit.  cooldude

Woodall Mountian, the highest point in Mississippi at a whopping 806 feet. From wikipedia..."A sign cautions visitors to prepare for a steep, unpaved, and rocky inclined road approximately a mile in length to the summit. Atop the hill there is a bench (what's left of it), a high point register, and a gravel circle allowing parking for several vehicles." Not sure I'd do that again...  Undecided

The longest bridge on the Natchez Trace... over the Tennessee River.

Fame recording studio in Muscle Shoals AL. There's a good, meat and three, just down the street called "Donna and Friends".

Guntersville Lake AL. Spent summer vacations there as a kid. Nice memories.

Ross,

Nice report on what appears to have been a great ride! Thanks for giving us a glimpse of the sights as seen through your eyes and camera lens... for taking us right along with you. It was good to spend some time with you in Hattiesburg... I'll look forward to jawing some more at future events. I'm glad Mike was able to talk you into coming and joining the family!
