So a good time to fix an ugly part of the bike. The engine mount that the ignition is mounted of was awful. It had to be repainted. I took it all apart and painted it gloss black with engine paint. I hated it. I will eventually take it all apart and paint it flat black. For now a piece if carbon fiber tape covers most of that gloss black. It looks kinda cool for now.

IMHO, gloss black looks good on paint (tanks, fenders, fairings) but not on other parts.  Satin black looks finished (unlike flat), but not so shiny as gloss. 

But that carbon fiber look is not bad at all.   cooldude  (kind of a satin/flat mini stripe)
