My aunt (mother's sister) passed away recently. Friday they held a service and a celebration of life luncheon. It was great to see cousins i havent seen in years. Kathy was unable to attend due to a shortage of people at work. My cousins (and I) were disappointed that they would not get to meet my wife. As it worked out we all got together for dinner on Saturday. Had I'd known that my shenanigans were going to be the topic of the night, I would have stayed home. Some of the stories were exaggerated. Like drag racing in town center. Like filling tractor tires with gas, lighting them and rolling them down a hill into traffic. Like almost getting arrested the day of my wedding day. Mind you, none of this stuff really happened. But between my three cousins and my wife, it became a game of one upmanship at my expense.
Honestly, I haven't had so much laughter reliving things I never did. They all love Kathy of course. Who doesn't? And my cousins said they will continue to pray that God keeps me in the palm of his hand. So I've got that going for me.
Oh, and while this was going on, Kathy's pick at the Kentucky Derby won! She played $6 w/p/s. Nice piece of change in return.

Sorry for your loss. Times like these bring Families back together. Glad you enjoyed time with your Family.

Based on your reputation as a young man in Townsend though, are you sure these stories were exaggerated?   cooldude

Paul, am glad you were able to share some laughter to offset your loss. Methinks perhaps their memories of your shenanigans are more accurate than yours.... Townsend? More likely Town's end...  smitten  Evil  angel
