Anyone come across an inexpensive alternative to Kury pegs and mounts for crash bar setup?  I have Mick-o's on Ruby, but would also  like something I where I can stretch the legs forward.  I'd prefer something semi adjustable like the Kury mounts, but I'm hoping to avoid shelling out for the Kurys.

And is it 1 1/8" for the crash bar mounts?

I've had a lot of highway pegs on bikes and many of the cheaper types don't hold up over time.  Just something to consider.

Ya, I have some Kurys on the Bullet and like 'em plenty.  I'll probably just bite the bullet and buy another set of those.

Mounting on the curve requires an 1 1/8” clamp.

My advice is... you can go as cheap as you want on the pegs, but don't go cheap on the clamps (1 1/8").

Kuryakyn quick clamps are good.

But the cheap clamps with lots of bolts on them do work, but degrade quickly.

Pegs without rubber are slippery.

I sometimes put my feet over the pegs, and rubber padding is easier on my Achilles tendons.

I believe this type of clamp has a tendency to damage the chrome on the tip over guards.

I bought a Harley with them already on there, and they didn't scratch the guards.  But they sure could.

They got changed quickly though.  They were already rusty and corroded.

Thanks.  Kury clamps it'll be.

Another fan of the kury pegs.
They just work.
They adjust to any angle..and they last.
Just pay the $200 and save some aspirin..
