Well also a pawn shop and a jewelry store. But the good news is I was able to score 2 10 round magazines for my S & W M & P .40 compact. $36.99 ea Before taxes! Young gal that waited on me I asked about ammo as I had read the sign-I box per caliber per day. And I asked-What caliber do you have? And she said a couple boxes of .22 shorts.  Lips Sealed Soon as any of the heavier calibers arrive they are sold out quicker than they can restock. Fair selection of wheel guns and semi auto pistols. Good selection of shot guns and scary black assault weapons!  2funny But as a guess-every one havin a difficult time finding ammo! Least ways I Was Able to load those new magazines with some .40 hollow points!  cooldude RIDE SAFE.

Pretty much 6 days a week I visit the Simpson Antique Firearms web site “New” page. I have purchased 4 different Firearms from them in the past. Nothing in the last 4 years. Always been very happy with my modest purchases.

Their sales today exceeded $28,000.00.  An 1890 Colt SA was $15,000 of that .

I’m just in awe of the continuing trade in high dollar firearms ( none of which I own ) .

On a different note. I carry daily and, as of late, I’ve been helping an old pal build a couple metal stamping dies in his small machine shop.
The shop is 3800 feet North of the border with Mexico in a multi bay structureand it’s like working in a war zone. Multiple helicopters, Border Patrol on horseback and 4 wheel drive. The bay door shakes when the chopper downdraft hits it. I’m actually starting to think that my LCP 2 with an extra mag needs to be replaced with my CZ-75B and a spare mag.

I’m in there alone for a few hours with loud stuff going on and find myself getting antsy when the
choppers and hoof beats come in so close.

Am I being too paranoid ?

Am I being too paranoid ?

I think the 75B is the better choice myself, at least while working in and round the building.

I don't think you're paranoid.  (Just don't run from any helicopters.)

People don't think it be like it is, but it do.  Grin
